1973 Firebird Formula-350 The Orange Autumn

Make : General Motors
Model : Pontiac Firebird Formula-350
Year : 1973

Owner : Abdulla Isa Oraik
Country : Bahrain
Member of : Gulf Muscle Cars Group

In 1973, a lot has changed for the world of muscle cars; with the new federal regulations and the oil crisis, American car manufacturers had to reduce power, change designs and add stuff to their vehicles to make it more compatible with the new regulations.

Despite these changes that marked the downfall of the great muscle car era, General Motors Pontiac division was making a noticeable increase in sales compared to the year 1972 and was able to also introduced the all-mighty 455 Super Duty during that same year.
One of these best-selling Pontiac cars in 1973 was the Pontiac Firebird Formula-350.

The 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula-350 is part of the 2nd generation of General Motors Pontiac division production that started in 1970 and ended in 1981 leaving room for new generations of the legendary Firebird.

Only 4771 were made that year, the Pontiac Firebird Formula looks exactly like a Trans AM without the screaming chicken and had about one only difference that is the heavy body cladding that the Trans Am wore on the sides. The 1973 Firebirds looked much the same as their 1972 counterparts, but there were some changes out front, such as a new “egg crate” grille and a revised Endura bumper, to meet ever-increasing Federal bumper mandates.

The 1973 Firebirds looked much the same as their 1972 counterparts, but there were some changes out front, such as a new “egg crate” grille and a revised Endura bumper, to meet ever-increasing Federal bumper mandates.

Our 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula-350 is almost original as the current owner is the 2nd owner since 1973.

It comes equipped with a 350 cu in (5.7 L) Pontiac V8 producing 150hp and has an amazing Navajo Orange exterior paint and an astonishing white leather interior.

1971 Dodge Challenger, The Best American Muscle Car 2014

Make : Dodge
Model : Challenger
Year : 1971

Owner : Farouk el Khalil
Country : Lebanon

These days, the 1971 Dodge Challenger is a rare car and not easy to find on the roads.

What’s so special about this car is the fact that there are several features that make it even rarer. It comes equipped with a 440 Magnum, convertible roof top, manual 4-gear Pistol Grip, factory A/C and the rear disc brakes an option at the time.

Very few cars were manufactured to such specifications, the engine even with its high output power was upgraded with an even higher output kit taking its normal 380-400 HP engine to 525 HP.

In 2014 the 1971 Dodge Challenger was awarded the Best Retro American Muscle Car for the year 2014 at Lebanon Motorsport and Tuning Show last August.

This rare car was purchased in 1971 from the dealer in Lebanon, it was swapped in many hands until I found it in 2001- said Farouk

The last owner had modified it to non-standard conditions, after researching the original specifications, as I do with all my cars, I fully restored it to its original specifications and colors with all original parts from USA – added Farouk

Make : General Motors
Model : Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
Year : 1976

Owner : Yahya AL-Banna
Country : Saudi Arabia
Member of : Gulf Classic Cars Group

This is an unrestored fully original 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible front-wheel drive equipped with full options.

It has very low mileage almost 1700 miles, this vehicle spent its life hidden in California’s bunkers and is one of the few surviving low mileage original-state Cadillac’s.

The Exterior color is Georgian Silver Poly that comes with a black original leather interior.

The uniqueness of this car comes from the fact that 1976 was the year were manufactures introduced the electronic fuel injection system and the 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible was one of the lucky few to run it on its engine.

I purchased this car from its original owner in 2012 with only 1300 miles on it; I love it because these are very soft smooth cars to ride. When you drive this type of cars, you feel like driving a big boat – said Yahya
