HOFELE Design add more luxury to Mercedes Benz S-Class & MAYBACH

The HOFELE family has a history in automotive design and engineering and a connection to the Mercedes-Benz brand for over 100 years when the current generation Michael & Martin HOFELE’s grandfather was an apprentice with Mr. Carl Benz at Benz & Co.

In January 2018 HOFELE-Design GmbH became an authorised contractual partner of Daimler AG for the conversion of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. So far this year we have seen some of HOFELE’s products based on Mercedes-Benz SUV’s like the GLS and the G-Wagon. Now HOFELE turn their attention to Mercedes-Benz saloon models. HOFELE has just released photos of their exclusive program for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the MAYBACH.

HOFELE’s design philosophy is based on “Elegant, Sophisticated with a tough of Sportiness”. Rather than following the trend of some of the other companies modifying Mercedes-Benz vehicles which push the boundaries with large amounts of carbon and aerodynamic add-on’s HOFELE’s designs focus is on discrete individualism. The owner of a HOFELE wants the Mercedes-Benz brand experience with a little bit of extra exclusivity.

We have seen the HOFELE based on a standard Mercedes-Benz GLS400 that looks like a “Special Edition” GLS 63 AMG with its high quality Maybach style leather interior and many other exclusive HOFELE features, the total HOFELE package is made up of a number of styling elements and enhancements that are included with a very high level of attention to detail that they really do add to the feeling and look of an ultra-premium brand.

The HOFELE S-Class & Maybach shown here for the first time demonstrate that HOFELE is committed to building the brand to enhance the whole range of passenger cars available from Mercedes-Benz. We are also informed that HOFELE are now working on the C & E-Class models and we hope to see details of these soon. HOFELE is now actively building an internationally respected brand with a dealer network to cover Europe, The Middle East and China.

Even finer, even more exclusive – The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class in a new look

Mercedes-Maybach stands for the ultimate in exclusivity and individuality. The luxury brand combines the perfection of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with the exclusivity of Maybach. Now the top model from Mercedes-Benz is even more refined. A new radiator grille, optional two-tone paintwork and new exclusive colour combinations in the interior ensure an even more majestic look. The world premiere is at the Geneva Motor Show (6.3. to 18.3.2018), and it will go on sale in April 2018.

A reinterpretation of the Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille with its fine, vertical struts accentuates the front end. The grille was inspired by a pinstriped suit. It celebrated its world premiere in the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6, the exclusive coupé study which thrilled connoisseurs and fans of the brand in 2016.

The two-tone exterior paint finish is also a classic Mercedes-Maybach theme. In future there will be nine different colour combinations available on request. The double clear coat is available as a further new option for all dark colours.
It creates a brilliant surface finish with a piano lacquer effect and a special impression of depth. The second bodywork clear coat, including intermediate sanding, is intricately applied by hand in the Maybach Manufaktur by specially trained varnishers.

The exterior look of the top model is rounded off by a new luxury 20-inch multi-spoke wheel. There are also three exclusive 20-inch wheels to choose from for the Mercedes-Maybach, including the wheel with a 20-hole design familiar from the Mercedes-Maybach S-Cabriolet.

Two new exclusive colour combinations are offered in the interior: armagnac brown/black and savanna beige/black. The black Maybach Exclusive nappa leather upholstery appointments can also be ordered with a choice of copper-, gold- or platinum-coloured contrasting topstitching. Also new in the range are trim inserts in designo flowing lines Magnolia.

With a length of 5462 mm and a wheelbase of 3365 mm, the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz model range exceeds the long-wheelbase S-Class Saloon by 20 cm in both dimensions. Rear passengers benefit from this increased size, as well as from standard equipment that includes Executive seats on both left and right and other exclusive details such as innovative voice amplification. The huge success of the Mercedes-Maybach speaks volumes: since the market launch of the Maybach in February 2015 over 25,000 Mercedes-Maybach S-Class models have already been delivered to customers. In 2017, too, more than 1 in 10 S-Class models sold was a Mercedes-Maybach.

Emirates Motor Company introduces Mercedes-Maybach Pullman to the UAE

High-end automotive performance is combined with the ultimate in passenger space and comfort in the new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman.

With a host of high-end comforts fitted as standard, the vehicle lives up to modern expectations of what constitutes maximum exclusivity and luxury for Middle Eastern customers.

Available through Emirates Motor Company, authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the flagship company of ALFAHIM, the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman is the definition of safety, style and performance. The 5.6 tonne saloon car can reach speeds of up to 160kmph thanks to its twin turbo V-12 engine.

A favourite of royalty, government ministers, heads of state and high net worth individuals across the globe, the new Mercedes-Maybach Pullman’s size is a sign of its special status.

At 6.5 meters-long, it has enough room for a generously proportioned and tastefully appointed club lounge in the rear. 

The chauffeur-driven limousine’s VIP passengers sit in two executive seats facing the direction of travel while two other passengers sit facing backwards.

All of the passengers enjoy the most legroom of a car of this type while the extra headroom – the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman is more than 100mm taller than a Mercedes S-Class – means they can get in and out with the greatest of ease and comfort.

The two executive seats can be adjusted to a unique level of comfort. The backrest can be calibrated to a maximum angle of 43.5 degrees while the footwell and seat both remain unchanged. An upright position of 19 degrees allows for a relaxed working space.

The Mercedes-Maybach Pullman does not compromise on the comfort of passengers, with the interior adhering to the strict principals of style and luxury that has made the Maybach limousine marque so popular in the region and across the world.

The interior is upholstered in the finest quality leather throughout as standard, including the headliner, door frames and seat consoles.

As one would expect of a Maybach, there are three analogue instruments in the headliner informing passengers in the rear of the outside temperature, speed and time.

TUNING IN AT DUBAI INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW FOR THE ULTIMATE IN VEHICLE PERSONALISATION

The Middle East’s premier motoring consumer event will be showcasing the finest tuning and modification companies, for those who want something a little different

Motoring enthusiasts across the GCC are known for their eclectic tastes, resulting in an automotive landscape like nowhere else in the world. For many car and motorcycle owners in the region, personalisation represents the ultimate in luxury, resulting in countless unique, bespoke vehicles that reflect their owners’ personalities and status.

To meet the very specific demands of the Middle East’s image-conscious drivers and bikers, a number of specialist companies have set up in the region, catering to every whim, taste and budget. And visitors to the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show, the Middle East’s premier automotive event, running from 14-18 November at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), will witness first-hand some of these remarkable creations, as well as discover how vehicles are modified to meet demand with interactive displays that will leave car fans wondering how they can personalize their vehicles.

Such is the demand for that special personal touch, organisers of the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show have created a Tune & Style sector, which is dedicated to tuning, components and related services, and is one of five specialist segments at the five-day event.

“The aftermarket and tuning sector is an incredibly important segment of the motoring industry,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions and Events Management, DWTC.

“Sectorisation of the show presents exhibitors with a tailored, unique platform to showcase their latest products and services and gain easier access to their target audience. This is a region of car lovers and enthusiasts pay keen attention to their vehicles, often spending huge amounts of money to make them unique and personal,” LohMirmand added.

Brabus, one of the world’s most-respected tuning companies, will be unveiling its latest modified Mercedes-Benz and Maybach models during the five-day show. Sven Gramm, Head of PR/Advertising at Brabus, says the German company, which has operations in Dubai, will be displaying no fewer than 10 cars, with the potential addition of modified classic convertibles to the stand. Six of the vehicles will be unveiled for the first time in the region, while the Brabus 850 ‘Buscemi Edition’, which is based on the G63 – one of the GCC’s most iconic cars – will enjoy its global premiere.

The aftermarket sector is about much more than weird and wonderful personalisation, and many car owners in the Middle East invest in simple modifications such as window tinting. Auto Millennium Group is the Official Tint Partner with Llumar at the 2017 Dubai International Motor Show and will be showcasing its 13 different businesses on its impressive stand, and is promising to entertain and inform visitors with a range of interactive displays.

Deborah Jucker, Auto Millennium’s Director of Sales and Marketing, added that to demonstrate the effectiveness of the company’s products and treatments, visitors to the stand will be encouraged to throw liquid and other items at a car that has been coated with 3M Scotchgard Vehicle Protector, to show how it withstands any “unwanted dirt”.

Sharing space in Hall 7 will be Autodata Middle East, the GCC’s preeminent provider of vehicle identification and pricing information to the automotive industry, government, banks and insurers alike. Unique to this region. Autodata says its credibility and success are “based on independent research resulting in authoritative, accurate and unbiased information.” If you’ve ever been curious as to how a car’s resale value is set, a visit to Autodata Middle East will be a must.

Wail Motorsport Engineering will showcase its vast range of performance motorsport parts exhaust systems, turbo kits and ECU mapping upgrades. “Every aspect of our exhausts design and manufacture is focused on improving performance and reliability,” said a Wail Motorsport Engineering spokesperson. “The exhaust system is often the last part of the Race or Performance car to be built. It needs to work in a very confined space and will often be expected to provide extra power, survive massive rpm, weigh very little and fit a budget.”

The Tune & Style sector will host a special display of 10 modified cars, in collaboration with Top Performance magazine. The cars, a mix of sports cars, classics, SUVs and pick-ups, will feature upgrades and modifications from some of the world’s leading tuning companies.

The 2017 Dubai International Motor Show is open from 6pm to 10pm on Tuesday, 14 November; 11am to 10pm on 15 November; 11am to 11pm on 16 November and 17 November; and from 11am to 10pm on 18 November.
