Salatuk Now Available for Jaguar Land Rover Vehicles in Time for Ramadan

Jaguar Land Rover Middle East and North Africa welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan this year by launching the first regional addition to its InControl Apps suite, the popular Muslim prayers app, Salatuk.

Starting from the first week of Ramadan, the Salatuk app will be available for download to Android users in the region via Google’s Play Store, with an iOS version due in the coming months.

Developed by Moroccan mobile app company, Masarat App, Salatuk is one of the most popular Muslim prayers apps in the MENA region with over 30 million downloads. The mobile app’s unique algorithm supports many calculation methods adopted by most Muslim countries around the world and depending on the user’s location, the application chooses the appropriate calculation method and Fiqhi school.  Salatuk, has won several awards from around the region including the Mobily Award in 2013.

InControl Apps continously offer an updated variety of approved, vehicle-optimised apps such as Contacts, Calendar and Music Player that will be complemented by more third party apps over time for a constantly fresh and personal user experience.

MG Motor launches ‘MG Grand Show’: A Facebook Live gameshow, gifting winners with big prizes this Ramadan

MG Motor has announced the arrival of ‘MG Grand Show’ a Facebook Live gameshow which will run throughout the Holy month of Ramadan. Hosted by acclaimed TV presenter, Tony Baroud, the interactive show will run for four weeks on MG Motor’s Middle East Facebook page, with one winner per week taking home a brand-new MG RX5 or MG ZS.

The show will be broadcast live every Tuesday at 10.30am (UAE time), 09.30am (KSA time) and 6.30am (GMT time) during the Holy month of Ramadan. Tony Baroud will host the 30-minute gameshow via Facebook Live, guiding users through a series of interactive games such as ‘the online brand challenge’ and fun IQ games such as ‘guess the emoji’. At the end of the show Tony will announce the name of winner and proud new owner of an MG Model.

TV presenter, host and sports commentator Tony Baroud has been in showbusiness for 25 years. The international host and former member of the Lebanese national basketball team is well known for his humor, wit and improvisation making him the natural choice to present MG Motor’s first live gameshow.

AGMC launches its exclusive BMW and MINI offers for the Holy Month of Ramadan

AGMC, the official importer of BMW Group brands for Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates, has launched this year’s host of special seasonal offers which will take place during the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Valid until the end of Ramadan, AGMC’s exclusive campaigns comprise of a 15 percent down payment contribution on new models across the BMW and MINI ranges with a first-year free insurance offer.  For those looking to drive away a pre-owned BMW under the BMW Premium Selection Programme, AGMC will also be offering up to 15% down payment contribution and free car insurance. BMW models come equipped with a BMW Service Inclusive Package for five years or 100,000km and a Repair Inclusive Package for five years or 200,000km.

Throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan, MINI enthusiasts can also take advantage of the MINI Service Inclusive package for three years or 60,000km and five years or 100,000km for MINI Countryman.
